As a long-time fan of Kristen Bell I was excited to see this sequel. Sadly the movie was a little too crude for my tastes. I laughed, sure, but it won’t be dethroning any of the classic Christmas comedies.

From UPHE.com:

A Bad Moms Christmas follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.

Without the obvious ad placement for Skyzone the movie may have left with with little joy, but, watching the dodge-ball scene is something which will stay with me whereas I watched the movie two days ago and I am struggling to remember much else.

I did laugh, and it was on brand so they delivered what was ordered, it just barely missed the mark for me, though.
